Is it really a good time to buy?
I get this question asked every week. The answer? YES. The Phoenix area has a huge inventory of homes right now. Not only are buyers getting to choose from dozens of homes in their price range, but many of these homes are priced at their 2004 and early 2005 price (before the "boom"). Sellers that have owned thier homes for more than a few years are very aggresive with their pricing. They are NOT being overly greedy and they UNDERSTAND that they need to price their homes accordingly. Another nice plus to this market is the appearance of the homes. Those sellers that are not in financial hardship are actually making their homes very appealing to the consumer. They are taking the time, energy and money that is needed to make their home the best it can be. The buyer now, can just think about the purchase of the home and not so much about the money they need to spend after they move in. There are a lot of TURN-KEY homes out there and that's a really good thing!! Interet rates continue to be low and that means lower monthly payments for homebuyers as well. Is it a good time to buy? You bet it is.
